I’m Julie Hunt, the designer and creator of MacGnome – the original Scottish gnome.

Here at my pottery shop & painting studio in Dunkeld, I realised that after several enquiries from visitors, there wasn’t a Scottish gnome to be found.

Let’s face it the world needs a kilted gnome and to put this right, I took myself off to clay class. Over the next 3 months I learned how to sculpt figures in clay, make a casting mould and created the very first MacGnome.

You too can own a MacGnome and have him personalised with your choice of family tartan.

I individually hand cast and paint each one.

He will arrive boxed and have his own Certificate of Authenticity, stating his unique number and date that he was made.
